Guess where I'm in

Hey everyone, here's a post I wanted to post when I first landed in China but I soon realize blogger doesn't work in China so I just took a two month hiatus from blogging.

I'm in China.

As of right now I'm in Guangzhou. This place is exactly like Vietnam which means I'll get used to but I'm only staying here for one night then I'm off to Beijing. Awesome =)

But I'm flipping tired, it's like 4 in the morning back home and I didn't really sleep on the plane. Haha I would rather watched How I Meet Your Mother, I really didn't know why I didn't catch on to the show earlier.

And the hotel I'm staying at is called Hanting Hotel. My initial thought was haunting. Not exactly a great start.
Also my dad freaking got me sick. Since I sat next to him on a 12 hour flight. Boo. Well my throat hurts right now, I'll be coughing soon.

Later I'll talk about stereotypes haha especially about the Asians stereotypes. =)

That's the post, I'll start posting a lot more since I'm getting my vibe back. And it's July, ma bday month so it's a little present.

So..

I'm back from my trip to China. Got back yesterday and I am extremely lazy. All I want to do is nothing. I am doing nothing, but somehow time is flying and technically I have been back for almost 2 days now (well more like 36 hours); it feels like I literally just got back.

Anyways, I will slowly talk about my trip.

Continuing on With Rawr Day.

How should I start? Ok, I am leaving on Friday and I am going to China. YAY! First time there, I am going to be a fob there, since I don't speak Mandarin and I really don't know how it is going to be. Anyways, my father wanted me to get some Iphones for our trip so we can just get a prepaid sim cards there and use those phones.

Yesterday, I found a great ass deal on iphones, I ordered 3 and today I told my father I got the iphones, they will arrive on Friday. He then told me that I am leaving on Friday. Mind that before he said we were leaving on SATURDAY! What the fa. I am so pissed at him for this misinformation. So I had to cancel the order, the manager called and I told him yeah I want to cancel. UNFORTUNATELY, I didn't read my emails before hand, he just called me right as I got home. I read those emails and they could have done an overnight shipment so I can get those phones by tomorrow night. PGIONHASPKLGJANSKLGJNADSL, now I regret saying I want to cancel my stupid order. It was such a great deal. Like it was 70% off deal. Such a great deal gone. Boo.

I had the worst sleep EVER. Well, the worst sleep so far in my new house. I am not a happy camper today so I'm on edge. Luckily, I took a shower and I love water so that calmed me down. I am still not happy. Like a baby, a good sleep = happy, a bad sleep = grouchy bear.

I went to bed at my usual time, 1ish. Then I heard my dad come home, he took a shower then decided to FREAKING blow dry his hair. I cannot sleep. Since my bedroom is beside the bathroom. Later I heard my aunt or whoever coming out of their room to do whatever, that woke me up. Then my grandma decided to wake up at like 230ish and walk around the house. No. Ok, she wears slipper sandals so there's that walking sound tumbling around. Boo. Also my body/mind kept on tossing and turning. UGH. I no happy. =( I need to go out today to cope. Ha

Hey. I just got a galaxy player and well I'm still playing around with it. So far this thing is great. I'm totally in love with it! But I'm don't think that I can do long post with it since it's touch screen and I can only do so much typing on a screen.

I love this period of spring and summer somewhat coming together into another season. This time, well in BC, Canada; the climate is warm, we can wear shorts and tanks and be completely find even if it's windy! The air is crisp and clean. You smell freshness. Getting to see the SUN! The MOON! The STARS!

Another thing is that there are more people out: we're walking more, doing activities; WE'RE OUTSIDE. Love it.

This time of year, I am extremely peaceful and calm. I feel happy and really ah. Zen. =)

To sum it up: I love spring summer. The air, the weather, the warmth, the people and nature coming together like we should be doing always.

Talkity Talk Talk

I am so hell bent to get this phone. Morning people, how's your day so far? I'm good (it's sunny outside so I'm all giddy and happy). Recently I have been talking on the phone a lot, why? I have no idea, I really don't use my phone at all but yeah.

When I am in a good mood, I become this extroverted person who wants to talk to everyone in the whole wide world. I don't know why, I just want to continue to yap away until my mouth runs dry. I am not much of a talker more of a listener. Now I just want to talk.

I have been on CL and Ebay and Amazon and everywhere trying to get a good deal on this phone, (retail for 6, trying to get it for 3ish) for my father cause his phone sucks ass. Also, trying to get like 2 or 3 iphones because i am going away and well, it's a nice gift to the others.

Loving Lyric Videos

Alright, I don't know if you guys have realize this trend that artists' are releasing lyric videos. I say trend because recently many artists' are releasing it but this has been here for a long time. For me, Selena Gomez has been doing it for a while now and she does it in Spanish as well. 

Take a look of some videos from The Wanted, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and Linkin Park.

I am liking this new trend because as a fellow singer in her own privacy, I like to sing and I am pretty sure many of us out there do but what we don't like is when we messed up on the lyrics of a song. It's a hassle that we have to go look up the lyrics, some sites are shady.  Brava music industry to pick up on this.

Well, we know today is supposedly a major bad luck day but I don't know. I feel that it could either bring major bad luck or major good luck. It really depends on the person.

I believe this is the second Friday the 13th this year.

I like superstitions and a lot of other stuff so I am hoping that today will be good. So far it is, since it is sunny, I see blue skies, I feel a gentle breeze. So far so good. =)

Another Mail Gift

So this is my second Julep box I have received. I love the red but I love the presentation and care that Julep puts in to the boxes. 

Ok, when I signed up for Julep, I did not know that this was like a monthly subscription to a magazine. I often check my credit cards to see if they are in check, I saw that Julep charged to my account and I was like "wtf, I didn't order anything blahblahblah." Anyways I went to Julep asking them what's up with this charge. They told me that this was a monthly subscription and we all get a box each month but we can skip a month or more, anyways through some emails and such. In the end since I live internationally (to Julep, US to Canada), they were unable to re-shipped their box back for a store credit refund. Oh wells, they have made it up and I do like their service and stuff. So I am a happy customer with Julep.

I am currently working on an anime style drawing, completely inspired by Avatar (the nickelodeon show). Here's the process so far.

Sean Paul's new single called, "Dream Girl," I like it, it's reggae-dancey, it's a good song. This morning, I saw he has came out with the video and it was featuring this girl named Lecca. She mixed well with the song so I had to do a little research on who she is.

Lecca is a Japanese-Reggae singer and she likes mixing the two tone sound together in her music. She reminds me of Rihanna.

This video like her music is mixed with a little English and a little Japanese. Listen if you want to see the three types mend.

Just a Drive

Today I felt blah so I just went out and drove around. since spring kind of sprung late here, the cherry blossoms are now bloomed.

In Vancouver, on the east side, actually near 1st avenue and Renfew street area, there are a lot of blocks that is filled with cherry blossoms trees. Some are white and some are pink; either way they are pretty. When I was in one of the blocks that is filled with white cherry blossoms; it smelled WONDERFUL. I swear there might be some jasmine plants or something; I love the scent of floral in the most natural way. =)

Anyways, I went around Vancouver and went to some areas in which I knew nothing about. Even though I have lived in this area for most of my life but I have not explore this place.

Gonna continue this exploration before exploring the world.

Music: Justin Bieber - Boyfriend

I love this new single from him, I have been pretty much obsessed with it for like two weeks now. What I like about this new single is that it's completely RNB, my go to music genre. His sound is like Justin Timberlake, I was a fan of some of JT's music. JB is grown up. 

I have read some comments of people not liking this new song is his. How is doesn't sound like him and such but people the boy is growing up. I am pretty sure he is of legal age by now and people, people change. You cannot expect a boy to continue sing those super bubbly pop music when he's growing up and maturing.

Current Mood: Tired

I just spent two and a half hours washing/drying my car. DAMN! That's a motherfreaking long time. Anyways, I didn't take no before/after picture but I realize I should just buy a super mega cloth that can dry something INSTANTLY.

But I did take an after showing part of my driveway reflected off by my car.

I say that's pretty clean/crisp and shiny.

Now I am exhausted and I am going to get some food! Nom nom. =)

TV: One Tree Hill

For all of those who does know, One Tree Hill has ended. The series concluded Wednesday and I am sad but happy about it. After nine seasons, the story line can only get so far.

Even though I was a late comer in watching the show, say 2007ish; I have watched it all from season 1, episode 1, to the very last, season 9, episode 13. That's a lot tv watching.

All the character in the show has grown so much from where they had started, high school fun. And like us real people, as life and age; we mature and grow up. But unlike us real people, the characters do get a happy ever after which most of us wish for and want.

There are only 3 remaining original main cast (Brooke, Nathan and Haley) but there are still a few secondary members that remained through the years (Mouth, Skills, and Chris) also there are those characters that are there because the have to be, the children. Peyton and Lucas may not be there in the end of the series; they did have made an impact in the beginning; without them, there wouldn't be a tree hill. 

What I loved about this show was that they did play on those touchy subjects that people do get into and the characters who played it, they do it well. From drugs, to high school problems, to murder, kidnapping; One Tree Hill pretty much covered it all. The show did borderline soap opera-ish but hey it's a drama. Let the show be be dramatic. But in the end; everything went well.

Start watching the show if you are in the teenage years or older; I would not recommend if your are younger because base on relating to the show, you would not get it. But if you are older and has been through stuff and wants to see how others portray it; it can help. Watch it if you like drama.  

I Feel like Changing.

I feel like I am changing.

Most of us know, we cannot change a person unless they are willing and want to change. I am a prime example of this. No one can tell me what to do and when to do unless I want to (basically saying - if it's for work - then it's a whole different story) but I am saying that no one can change who I am just because they want me to change. You tell me to go right when I want to go left. Well if I am controlling the wheels then I am going left.

Well, my thing is more external than internal. I want to transform myself but not to an extreme. I feel like the more girlier/athletic me is pushing out. Like she wants to escape from being on the inside and wants to come out.

I am pretty content with myself externally and internally; I know my flaws and qualities. I know that if I actually commit to certain things like exercising, my health bar would actually to adequate. Thus, I am going to start exercising. I don't know why I want to but I feel like it. Other than exercising, I would be doing other things.

I just want to become stronger. I am going to change. 

TV: Avatar: Legend of Korra

Guess what show is coming back!!

Avatar!! I love this show so much, it's a mood lifter. This time the avatar is a girl, yes! Girl power. And her name is Korra. She is from the Southern Water Tribe and has mastered earth, fire, and water already. She needs to learn air bending and the only air master left is Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin.

For all you guys who does not know Avatar the show, here's a brief description.

Avatar is a cartoon created by Nickelodeon, it is about a world where people can manipulate elements (the classic: air, water, fire and earth), weird merged animals (like the polar bear dog), spirituality and more. It has an Asian influence and it has a lot of martial arts (awesome), so there are always some kind of fight scene. Avatar is a person who can bend all four elements while normal people can only bend an element. The avatar must master all the elements and keep peace and balance to the world. It is about a person who has to save the world and will have a lot of antics and an awesome group of friends.

The show starts on the 14th this month. I'm totally tuning in and watching it over and over and over.

Watch this show or the first series (Avatar: The Last Airbender) if you like cartoons, comedy, action, more action and awesomeness. Also if you love Nickelodeon shows. =)

Rant: Bratty People

I don't get why people can become so bratty? Why would you want act like a brat? Do you like being branded as a brat? Because I know people know being label as a brat is a bad thing.

Like bitch can be turn to a good or bad thing. Diva, player, etc. Some labels that originated as something bad can be turn to something good. But brat; no.

By definition a brat is someone who acts like a child, who's impolite, selfish, spoiled. Unfortunately I live with a brat.

I Don't Get: Country Singers

I don't get why most county singers has blue eyes. Most of the females are blonde with blue eyes while the males are brunette with blue eyes. Still why do most of them has blue eyes? But I'm pretty sure the females dye their hair blonde, another thing: why are their skins so perfect.

I don't know.

How was Your Weekend?

Yeah, I know it's Wednesday and I'm a little late on this post but WHATEVS.

I absolutely loved this weekend (technically last) but it was all blue and sunny and breezy.

I had to go pick up some old family friends from the ferry, driving on the highway with the beautiful sun. LOVE IT. Later, I went to YTF with a few people.

The next day, I hung out with my other family friends from the States and somehow we spent 5 hours in Metro. HOW?! I am a fast shopper, I usually know what I want and what price it is at. But when you add two girly girls into a cheap shopping store, it can take a while. I had fun though. I went back home to see my dad hosting a little party for his people. W

Sunday, ANOTHER beautiful day, 3 straight days of sun. Awesome. My father and I dropped off our old family friends back to the ferry. Then I head to my other family friends and we went to the ocean. Actually, the aquarium. I haven't been there for like 4-5 years ago and it's like I am still a kid in a candy store.

Monday was the last day, the family friends from the States. We hung out mostly, went to Richmond, showed her Daiso. She loves the place but we went there when the store was about to close (30 minutes from.) Next time, I will bring her and the brother to Richmond to explore. They only go to Richmond for Night Market (which is only in the summertime.)

Overall, my weekend was good, the sun does so much. I become ALIVE.

Mail Surprise!

YTF!!

Yesterday, my friends from Portland came over because of their spring break and we all decided to go to YTF. It's a show that consists of youtubers (like NigaHiga, ChesterSee, AndrewGarcia and so forth)

Unfortunately, Kevin wasn't there. DAMN. And apparently he won't be there until the second leg of the tour so yeah.

Anyways, I had fun, they were good being that the started the show half an hour later. NOT HAPPY about that. But I'll post pictures. Later on the day, gotta do ma hair =). I will also talked more about the little event I went to.

More Girly Stuff

I went to Shoppers today and got me some nail polishes. Since they were $5.99 each instead of the usual $10.99, I saw a deal and some of them were on clearance ($3.99).

I have a lot of black and metallic polishes and I love colour so I need to expand it. I also have a lot of sparkles =). Rainbow and sparkles - the girliest part of me.

I also got the nyx 112 eyeshadow palette, finally got it after who knows how long I wanted it. Need to try it out soon.

TV: Pretty Little Liars

So yesterday was the season finale for Pretty Little Liars. They revealed who 'A' was. Basically, it was a total let down.

How was your weekend?

Saturday, my father woke me up asking if I wanted to go shopping in the states. Anyone who's from Vancouver knows, shopping in the states is cheaper and the drive is only (max 2 hours) actually it depends on the border line up. I went down to the Seattle Outlets located in Tulalip but before we headed to a buffet place for lunch in Bellingham.

The buffet was alright, I was hoping more of a drink selection (it was mostly pop, I wished there were juice). Anyways, in the end I got 2 pair of jeans, a tee for my brother ($8 - that's a good deal) and a wristlet. Somehow we spent the whole day in the states.

Sunday, I didn't do anything, I was actually obsessing over Pinterest. I love looking at pictures =). Also I watched Frozen Planet on Discovery, LOVE IT. I love nature; breathtaking scenery, the circle of life in the Arctic worlds, the animals were so cute and I love nature.

Monday (I know it's not weekend) but I started on a dress, I'm making for myself. YAY. I'm excited.

Do You Ever?

Do you ever wish? I certainly do and I wish knowing that what I am/have wish for cannot come true. So why am I wishing if I know it's not going to come to life? I don't know.

My most frequent wish is to have it like before. How things used to be. I do get stuck in the past being afraid of the future but I can't help it. Like those long summer nights, the cool breezy air, the glowing moon. I get stuck in the past because I miss how things were. How we interacted, how the days to feel like forever, how I felt knowing we had the whole world in front of us. I wish upon a star...

Friendly Neighbourhood.. Cat.

There's this cat, I believe it's a stray and if not, it sure likes to come to my house. I see this cat quite a few times already but once I get close, it runs to the other corner basically.

Today, it was walking along the walkway and found the sunniest place. It started to clean itself, chill around, basking in the sunny goodness. It was TANNING ha.

I believe it's a Birman or Ragdoll cat but reassurance is always great.

Ever had the feeling where you just want to bite off someone's head? Or destroy everything around you? Well, that's how I am feeling at the moment. Maybe it's because I didn't get my normal good sleep, I don't know why but I did wake up quite a few times so that made me cranky. Maybe it's because it's almost time for our monthly visit. Maybe it's because I am just pissy.

So.

So, I see the first act of daylight savings that I like. It's about 5:30 and the sun is out and it's on my face and it's not setting yet. But earlier today, it was snowing. I did a post of how the Lower Mainland's weather is moodier than a girl on her period. I still hold to that. I am lazy to post any pictures, I might later; highly doubt it.

OH MY GOD. So the thing that I am making from my previous posts, well I was ironing it. AND THERE CAME A FLIPPING STAIN!!! I look around my work area and there's nothing that's black and could have been on the iron plate. I DON'T GET IT .

Anyways, I am going to try everything to fix it and if I can't, well we will see.

I am not a happy camper.

BLUGHH

Since, I vocally refuse to say it, I might as well say it with words. I believe I am sick. I have been getting the symptoms such as scratchy throat, super clear nose (which hurts to breathe), a little headaches, sneezing and more.

The symptoms came around the middle of last week. I was hoping that yesterday's party will sort of help me, it didn't. And the thing is I don't get sick before moving into this new house; before I got sick once every other year. I am guessing this house is making my immune system weaker.

I AM SO THIRSTY!

I don't drink often, it's like 5 times a year, which is pretty much little to none. But when I do, I go hard, it is because I have a high tolerance but that had died down. But no matter how much I drink, I don't get hangovers, like ever unless I went super hard ball (as I should ended up in a hospital) and well that's a whole other story.

Even though I don't get hungover, I do feel dehydrate. I drink a lot water or juice or tea or chocolate milk or water. I drink a lot of sober liquids ha. So when it's the next morning; I am DEHYDRATE as shit. Boo.

Yesterday, was a friend's birthday and really I took a few shots because I was driving and didn't want to be intoxicated, I want to leave sober. Thankfully, many hours later because well playing with a group of drunk people and Cranium, well it can take a while to complete. I have sobered up, unlike the others; I drove home. I woke up, feeling normal, just super thirsty. My diet for today: FRUITS, water, milk tea and yeah.

I'm thinking of creating a nail page cause well, I tend to do my nails often-ish. It really depends on my moods and if I am feeling like doing my nails.

Anyways, I did my nails again, the theme is like cosmic dust and galaxies. ya know space.

I LOVE Bubble Tea.

Strawberry Lemon Black Tea.

I love bubble tea. It's the mixture of tea, fruits and tapioca pearls is what I just love about it. The flavours just intertwine so well together.

For those of you who does not know what bubble tea is, here's a little explanation. Bubble tea originated from Taiwan, it is a drink that consists of tea and fruits. It depends on the person but you can have tapioca pearls or fruit flavoured jellies. It comes with a big straw in which you can suck up whatever's there. But you can decide not to have any pearls or jellies. BUT try them out first before hating. I on the other hand LOOOOVEE pearls, there chewy and sweet and just so yummy.

Bubble tea can come as a slushy or smoothie or just a regular tea drink. Try bubble tea whenever you're in an Asian area but there are some BAD bubble tea out there. It is best to try a bubble tea shop then ordering bubble tea from an Asian restaurant. And if you're in Taiwan, you got to have some bbt (bubble tea), they are the originator.

It's not that I have realize that I haven't post or done a drawing in a while. It's just that I have started a bunch, I just haven't finished any of them. But today, like Tuesday at 12 a.m. I felt like drawing an emotional picture. Since I haven't actually done a drawing that emotes an actual emotion, I am always bent on drawing people who look fierce or sly, you know smirking or scheming something.

Anyways, here's the process so far, I am really liking it and I want to improve on everything digital art, I am still a noob when it comes to digital painting. Gotta get better.

Guess What I Recieved

I FINALLY got my order from Romwe, I only bought some accessories. I got 2 bracelets, a ring and a necklace. 

The ring was unfortunately broke during the period of delivery/handling and I informed Romwe about it. Their service is AMAZING. I sent them a message telling them of the broken ring which included a picture (not the one above.) The emailed me back and mainly apologize and compensate it. To me, the compensation is whatever, I could care less as I understand that when it's a long travel, sometimes things get broken. I am just pleased that they returned my message in less than 4 hours.
